Dear Google Workspace for Nonprofits Team,
Thank you for reviewing our application. I'd like to clarify the relationship between our submitted domain and our nonprofit organization.
Our Organization's Rebrand: Our nonprofit, originally named Climate Resilient Communities (CRC), is currently undergoing an official rebrand to Sprout. This is the same legal entity and organization—we are not a new or separate nonprofit. We are simply updating our name, visual identity, and web presence to better reflect our mission and make our work more accessible to the communities we serve.
Domain Transition:
- Current primary website: https://crc.place (active since 2020)
- New primary domain: sprout-climate.org (to be launched on January 5th, 2026)
The domain sprout-climate.org has been registered specifically for this rebrand and will become our organization's primary web domain once the website migration is complete. We are setting up our Google Workspace account now to ensure a smooth transition, with all organizational email addresses and communications moving to @sprout-climate.org.
Timeline: We are actively migrating our website content, documentation, and communications infrastructure from crc.place to sprout-climate.org. The new website at sprout-climate.org will be live by January 2026, at which point it will serve as our primary online presence.
Supporting Documentation: We can provide additional verification materials if needed, including:
- Our rebrand announcement and strategic plan
- Documentation showing organizational continuity between CRC and Sprout
- Proof of domain ownership for sprout-climate.org
We understand that only one Google Workspace account can be activated per nonprofit, which is why we're applying with our new primary domain rather than our legacy domain. Once activated, we can add crc.place as a secondary domain or alias during the transition period.
